ICCA Annual Cake Competition 2010

Siapa orang tua mat salleh kat atas ni haa??? Haa..kalau nak tau, dialah Sir Eddie Spence, yang buat kek untuk wedding Lady Diana dan jugak untuk Queen Elizabeth. Dia ni pakar dalam royal icing. Sir Eddie Spence came to Malaysia last October to conduct his royal icing course here at the ICCA, Kota Damansara. Of course I didnt go for the course because i dont have RM3800 to pay for it!!!!! Nak beli buku dia pun tengah kumpul duit ni, RM195 tau! Tula, tak amik pun autograph dia sebab tak beli buku dia lagi. So, i just went for his demo at Sunway Giza...huhu...sob..sob..tengok demo pun jadiklaa. He was also one of the judges for the ICCA Annual Cake Competition. So, I got to see all the beautiful cakes that entered the competition. By the way, Sir Eddie Spence is now 80 years old plus and he still got a pair of very steady hands. Ni one of Lady Di's cake.

Ni pulak gambar kek yang menang First Prize masa kek competition tu. Hadiah kemenangan ini adalah 1 return ticket to London with 5 days school at Squires Kitchen Cake Decorating School Farnham , UK plus exhibition ticket to Squires Kitchen exhibition in London 2011. Total 7 days trip with worth of prize almost Rm 10, 000. Bestnyerrrr kan. Tahniah En. Shahril Shamsudin. Lelaki  yang buat kek ni tau.

 Ni lah En. Shahril. Bangga jugak anak melayu dipilih oleh hakim-hakim mat salleh dari UK nun sebagai pemenang. Yang masuk competition tu dengar cerita ada dari korea, ada dari singapura.
